Who We Are

Hi, I’m Sara.

I’m a DIY enthusiast with a passion for woodworking and home improvement projects. I love tackling—and sharing—the projects I take on in the workshop, usually with my best bud by my side (the Rusty Dog). From highly practical builds to more creative projects, there’s always something in the works to keep me busy.

Over the past several years, I’ve documented many of my builds on my YouTube channel, and as it’s grown, I’ve been asked the same question time and time again: “What got you into woodworking?” I always wish I had a profound answer, but the truth is much simpler—it started out of necessity. Like many hobbyist woodworkers, I began by needing furniture for our first home. I quickly realized I could build custom pieces I loved far more than anything I could find in stores.

What started as a small, practical hobby has grown into a full-blown passion over the past six-plus years. I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and refining my skills, and I’ve grown my craft to a point where I’m excited to help others create custom pieces for their own homes.
